They couldn’t see how I found the power to look past my bf’s jerk-ish ways. But they don’t know that after what I’ve dealt with from my father, his ways only amused me. It’s not like he’s 100% jerk anyways…He’s the kindest, most caring guy I’ve ever met. Maybe they just need to look past his exterior.
I could stress over the bs directed my way by my peers but it doesn’t bother me. The only words that ever really hurt were the ones coming from my parents. Eventually, I just started tuning them out too. My iPod became the only thing I listened to around my house.
